we went ta see tha monks
(tha ones walking for peace)

and i started walking around 
taking pictures of flowers (in hands)
and signs peepholes were holding

and children and old folks 

(with faces)

whaire we went 
was at a railyard which
prooved to be 
(somewhat) significant

(as) thaire was a big sign
on a big building
that read:

BE CAREFUL

and a boxcar (that said)
(in big block letters)

OPERATION LIFESAVER:
LOOK,LISTEN & LIVE

and a smaller sign that read:
WATCH FOR TRAIN

all of which 
turned out to be
vairey helpful

for any number of peepholes
who (may be) didnt understand
tha situation 
they was in...

after a while
me and my wife
got separated

(but) when i saw her 
(again) she said...

“i was standing nexta this guy
he had a buncha good big pictures 
(of tha monks) (and)

he said, that he first 
saw them in columbia (and)

something struck his heart

and he took tha (w)hole week
off (from his job)
and he’s been 
following them
(ever since)”

she said,
“he was a real big guy
in camouflage
and he had teers
in his eyes
when he was tellin me”

and then she pointed

“thats him...over thaire”

you should go talk to him
(she said)

(and so i did)

dood was standin 
right neer tha barrier
and i tapped him
on his shoulder

he seemed 
(momentarily) 
confused...

i said...could i 
take a picture

he: still (slightly)
confused (yet
obliging) said

“sure...”

i told him,
"you told my wife 
yore story 
a moment ago

and she told me

and it touched my heart

so i want ta write

since he (still)
seemed (a bit)
confused

i clarified:
